Independent of Circumstances. |
|
Not that I am implying that I was in any personal want, for I have learned how to be content (satisfied to the point where I am not disturbed or disquieted) in whatever state I am. (Philippians 4: 11, Amplified) We have seen over the past several weeks that faith without works refers to hearing the word of God and doing nothing about it. We have learned too that when we learn to live and act in accordance with God’s word to us, we will find that we live by faith, and not by sensory perception. And today we learn that once we have learned to live by faith not by sight, the automatic result will be that we will be independent of circumstances. We will move on with life joyously, no matter what circumstances we face.
